The NRF52840-QIAA-R7 is a versatile, ultra-low power, highly flexible System-on-Chip (SoC) designed for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Thread, Zigbee, and 802.15.4 wireless communication protocols. It is part of the nRF52 series and integrates a 2.4GHz radio and a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 processor with FPU, providing high performance and efficiency.This SoC features a range of peripherals, including multiple ADCs, PWM, UART, SPI, I2C, and NFC-A Tag for various applications. It also supports over-the-air device firmware updates (OTA-DFU) for easy software upgrades.The NRF52840-QIAA-R7 has 1MB of Flash memory and 256KB of RAM, offering ample storage space for applications and data. It also includes a cryptographic co-processor for secure data transmission and authentication.Additionally, this SoC supports Bluetooth 5, allowing for longer range, higher data throughput, and improved coexistence with other wireless devices. It also features an on-chip Arm CryptoCell cryptographic accelerator for secure pairing and data encryption.
