The MC4044P is a quad bilateral switch designed for use in switching applications that require high voltage and high current capabilities. It features four independent switches controlled by digital signals, allowing for the connection and disconnection of signals or currents in electronic circuits. The MC4044P has a high voltage rating of up to 28V and can handle continuous current up to 200mA.This integrated circuit is commonly used in audio and video mixer applications, signal routing, and analog signal multiplexing. It operates over a wide temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and is housed in a 16-pin dual in-line package (DIP), making it easy to integrate into existing electronic systems.
