UC3843D General Description
The UC3843D is a high-performance current mode PWM controller designed for offline and DC-to-DC converter applications. It features a frequency of operation up to 500 kHz, allowing for efficient power conversion. The UC3843D includes a high-current totem-pole output stage that can source and sink up to 1A of current, providing flexibility in driving various power MOSFETs or IGBTs.This device also includes a precision voltage reference, error amplifier, oscillator, PWM comparator, and a dead-time control comparator. The UC3843D offers a variety of protection features such as overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection, and thermal shutdown to ensure reliable operation and safeguard against potential faults.Additionally, the UC3843D is offered in a standard 8-pin DIP package, making it suitable for a wide range of power supply and converter applications.
