UC3842AN General Description
UC3842AN is a pulse width modulation (PWM) controller IC designed for use in power supply applications. It offers high efficiency, low standby power consumption, and fast transient response. The IC operates at a fixed frequency of 65 kHz and can be synchronized to an external clock signal. UC3842AN features a voltage reference, error amplifier, oscillator, pulse width modulator, and output control circuitry. It provides overvoltage protection, adjustable dead time, and a soft-start function. The IC is capable of driving both power MOSFETs and bipolar power transistors.
