The UC2843BDR2G is a high-performance current-mode PWM controller. It features an internal oscillator with frequencies up to 500 kHz, making it suitable for controlling power supplies with either voltage- or current-mode control. The device includes a high-gain error amplifier that ensures precise regulation of the output voltage. Additionally, it has a totem-pole output stage with a 1A source and 1.5A sink current capability, allowing it to drive power MOSFETs directly. Other key features of the UC2843BDR2G include voltage feed-forward compensation, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, and low start-up current. It also has a UVLO circuit for both the VCC and CT pins to prevent malfunction during start-up or shutdown. The device operates over a wide temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, making it suitable for various industrial and automotive applications.
