MCP2518FDT-E/SL General Description
The MCP2518FDT-E/SL is a stand-alone Controller Area Network (CAN) controller with an integrated CAN FD (Flexible Data-rate) controller. It is designed to operate at high speeds with low power consumption, making it ideal for automotive and industrial applications. The MCP2518FDT-E/SL features a high-speed SPI interface for communication with a microcontroller, as well as a CAN FD controller that supports data rates of up to 8 Mbps. The device also has 32 transmit and 32 receive buffers, as well as advanced filtering and acceptance masking capabilities. It operates using a wide voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V and is available in a small 20-pin SSOP package, making it easy to integrate into space-constrained designs.
