The LTC4259ACGW is a Power over Ethernet (PoE) controller designed for use in Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) applications. It is manufactured by Analog Devices Inc. and is offered in a 24-lead SSOP package. This device is compliant with the IEEE 802.3af standard and is capable of delivering up to 25.5W of power to an Ethernet-powered device. The LTC4259ACGW features built-in classification circuitry that allows it to identify and communicate with powered devices, as well as provide necessary power in a safe and efficient manner.Key features of the LTC4259ACGW include a programmable current limit, inrush current limiting, and a hot swap controller which ensures safe insertion and removal of powered devices.
