TPS40009DGQ General Description
The TPS40009DGQ is a controller for low-voltage, non-isolated synchronous buck regulators. It drives an N-channel MOSFET for the primary buck switch and an N-channel MOSFET for the synchronous rectifier switch, achieving high-efficiency power conversion. The device controls delays to minimize diode losses in the synchronous rectifier with Predictive Gate Drive technology. It features an adjustable current-limit threshold, closed-loop soft start, and operates at a frequency of 600 kHz. The package is MSOP (DGQ) and is suitable for applications in networking equipment, telecom equipment, base stations, servers, DSP power, and power modules.
