The MR25H40MDF is a 4Mb (32Mb) serial NOR flash memory IC manufactured by Cypress Semiconductor. It operates on a single power supply voltage range of 2.7V to 3.6V and has a fast clock speed of up to 8MHz for high-speed data transfer. The chip is organized into 32 sectors of 4KB each, allowing for flexible data storage and retrieval.The MR25H40MDF features a serial peripheral interface (SPI) for communication with a host microcontroller or other devices. This interface supports both SPI and I2C protocols for easy integration into various system designs. It also includes a hardware write protection feature to prevent accidental data corruption.With its low power consumption and extended temperature range (-40°C to 85°C), the MR25H40MDF is suitable for a wide range of applications, including automotive, industrial, and consumer electronics. It offers high reliability and endurance with up to 100,000 erase/write cycles and a data retention period of up to 20 years.
