The HMC220BMS8GE is a high performance gallium nitride (GaN) monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) power amplifier from Analog Devices. It operates in the frequency range of 2.5 GHz to 2.7 GHz and has a linear gain of 23 dB with an output power of 8W. The device offers excellent power added efficiency (PAE) of up to 45% and can be used in various applications including radar systems, wireless infrastructure, and satellite communication.The HMC220BMS8GE is housed in a compact 8-lead SMD package, making it suitable for space-constrained applications. It operates on a single +28V supply voltage and has built-in protection features such as over-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature protection.
