The FOD817BSD is a high-speed optocoupler featuring a GaAs infrared LED and a silicon phototransistor. It is designed to provide high isolation voltage, fast switching speed, and high current transfer ratio.This optocoupler has a maximum isolation voltage of 5000Vrms, making it suitable for use in applications where high voltage isolation is required. The maximum forward current of the LED is 60mA, and the collector current of the phototransistor is 50mA.The FOD817BSD has a maximum propagation delay of 3 microseconds, ensuring fast response times in switching applications. It also has a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 100°C, making it suitable for use in a variety of environments.
