The SN65HVD234D is a high-speed CAN transceiver IC that is designed for use in high-speed CAN networks. It operates at speeds up to 1 Mbps and has a wide supply voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V. This transceiver is compatible with CAN FD (Flexible Data-rate) networks and has excellent electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) performance.The SN65HVD234D features a low standby current consumption of only 20 μA, making it ideal for automotive and industrial applications where power consumption is critical. It also has a thermal shutdown feature to protect the device from overheating.Furthermore, this transceiver has a wide common-mode voltage range of -2V to 7V, allowing it to be used in a variety of applications with different grounding requirements. The SN65HVD234D is available in a small SOIC-8 package, making it easy to integrate into different designs.
