The Automotive Audio Bus (A2B®) system revolutionizes audio communication in automotive applications by providing a seamless multichannel, I2S/TDM link over distances of up to 15 meters between nodes. Its ability to embed bidirectional synchronous PCM data, clock, and synchronization signals onto a single wire pair streamlines the communication process, making it ideal for hands-free communication, active noise cancellation, and microphone array setups. With a single-master, multiple-slave configuration, the A2B system ensures efficient data transfer and control, allowing for up to 10 discoverable slave nodes in the network. The flexibility of connecting various components such as DSPs, FPGAs, microphones, and codecs through the I2S/TDM interface, as well as support for up to four PDM microphones, makes it a versatile solution for audio/video conferencing systems and beamforming applications. Additional features like A2B bus powering further enhance the functionality of the system, enabling the master node to supply power to slave nodes over the same communication cable
