UC2843AN General Description
The UC2843AN is a high-performance current-mode PWM controller specifically designed for controlling step-down, step-up, and voltage-inverting applications. This integrated circuit features an error amplifier for precise voltage regulation, a sawtooth oscillator for controlling the duty cycle, and a high-current totem-pole output stage for driving external power devices.The UC2843AN operates over a wide input voltage range of 7V to 30V, making it suitable for a variety of power supply designs. It can deliver a maximum output current of 1A and supports frequencies up to 500kHz. The device also includes a soft-start feature to reduce inrush current during startup and thermal shutdown protection to prevent overheating.
