The LP2951ACM is a low dropout voltage regulator with a fixed 5V output voltage. It is capable of supplying up to 100mA of output current with a dropout voltage of only 150mV at full load. The device has a high PSRR (Power Supply Rejection Ratio) of 70dB at 120Hz, making it suitable for applications where a stable output voltage is critical.The LP2951ACM operates over a wide input voltage range of 5.1V to 30V and features thermal shutdown and current limiting protection circuits to ensure safe operation under fault conditions. It also has a low quiescent current of 75μA, which helps to extend battery life in portable applications.The device is available in a small SOT-223 package, making it easy to implement in space-constrained designs.
