LM3578AM General Description
The LM3578AM is a monolithic switching regulator specifically designed for flyback, boost, and forward converter applications. It features a wide input voltage range of 7V to 60V and an output voltage range of 1.25V to 60V. The device is capable of delivering up to 1.5A of output current with a switching frequency of up to 100kHz.The LM3578AM also includes built-in thermal shutdown and overload protection mechanisms to ensure safe and reliable operation. It features a voltage reference accuracy of ±2% and a peak current mode control scheme for improved transient response and stability.Other key features of the LM3578AM include a low dropout voltage of 1.3V, a low standby power consumption of 8mA, and a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. The device is available in a 16-pin SOIC package, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial, automotive, and consumer electronic applications
