LNK306DN-TL General Description
The LNK306DN-TL is a low-cost, compact, offline switcher IC designed for non-isolated buck converter applications. It is manufactured by Power Integrations and is suitable for use in LED lighting, standby power supplies, appliances, and other low-power applications.The LNK306DN-TL features a built-in 700 V power MOSFET with a low on-resistance of 2.3 ohms, allowing for efficient power conversion. The device operates at a frequency of 133 kHz, providing a balance between efficiency and EMI performance. It also incorporates a comprehensive set of protection features, including auto-restart for short-circuit and open-loop protection, thermal shutdown, and line undervoltage lockout.With a wide input voltage range of 85-265 VAC, the LNK306DN-TL is suitable for operation in universal mains applications. It offers an output power of up to 4.6 W with an output voltage of 5 V, making it ideal for driving low-power loads or LEDs.The LNK306DN-TL is housed in a small 7-pin SMD package, making it easy to integrate into compact designs.
