The LM567CN is a highly versatile tone decoder IC (integrated circuit) designed for precise tone and frequency detection. It is commonly used in communication systems, remote controls, security systems, and audio applications.The LM567CN operates over a wide frequency range from 0.01Hz to 500kHz and can detect frequencies as low as 0.05Hz. It has an internal voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) that generates a center frequency based on external components.
