The ICE2BS01 is a highly integrated, low noise DC-DC converter controller IC designed for off-line flyback Converters in Quasi-Resonant Operation. It is specifically optimized to work with Infineon CoolSET™ family of products and is suitable for a wide range of consumer applications such as chargers, adapters, set-top boxes, and LED lighting.The ICE2BS01 features an advanced Quasi-Resonant topology which reduces switching losses and improves efficiency, making it ideal for low power applications. It operates in fixed frequency mode for stable and reliable operation, and includes various protection features such as overvoltage, overcurrent, and overtemperature protection.Key features of the ICE2BS01 include a green-mode function for standby power consumption reduction, soft-start for controlled start-up behavior, frequency jittering for EMI reduction, and an adjustable blanking time for noise immunity. It operates over a wide input voltage range of 85V to 265V and can support outputs up to 165W.
