FAN3224TMPX General Description
The FAN3224TMPX is a dual 4A high-speed low-side gate driver IC designed for driving N-channel MOSFETs in low-side switching applications. It features a high peak current drive capability of up to 4A and a peak output voltage of 16V, allowing for fast switching speeds and efficient power handling. The IC also includes an under-voltage lockout function to protect the MOSFETs from damage during start-up.The FAN3224TMPX has two independent output channels, making it suitable for driving two separate power switches in parallel or for driving complementary power switches in a half-bridge configuration. Each channel has a split output configuration, with a low impedance source driver for fast turn-on and a high-impedance sinking driver for controlled turn-off.The IC operates over a wide temperature range of -40°C to 125°C and is housed in a compact 8-pin Power-SOIC package, making it suitable for a variety of high-power applications such as motor control, power inverters, and dc-dc converters
