VIPER16LDTR General Description
VIPER16LDTR is a highly efficient primary side regulated (PSR) offline converter with an integrated high voltage power MOSFET. It is designed for low power offline non-isolated, flyback power supplies. This IC offers a wide input voltage range from 85V to 265V, making it suitable for worldwide applications.The VIPER16LDTR features a built-in startup current source, short-circuit and over-temperature protection, and an adjustable current limit for output overload protection. It also includes a jittered switching frequency for reduced EMI emissions. The device operates in a quasi-resonant mode to achieve high efficiency and low standby power consumption.In addition, the VIPER16LDTR offers an automatic self-supply for internal operation, eliminating the need for an external power supply. It is housed in a compact DIP-7 package, making it suitable for space-constrained applications.
