The TPS7A4700RGWT is a low-dropout voltage regulator with an input voltage range of 0.95V to 7V and an output voltage range of 0.8V to 5.5V. It is capable of delivering up to 1A of continuous output current with a very low dropout voltage of only 190mV at 1A load.This regulator features a very low quiescent current of only 19µA, making it ideal for battery-powered applications where power efficiency is crucial. It also has a high power-supply rejection ratio (PSRR) of 68dB at 1kHz, ensuring stable output voltage even in noisy environments.The TPS7A4700RGWT is designed with thermal shutdown and current limit protection mechanisms to prevent damage to the device in case of overcurrent or overheating. It is available in a small 20-pin VQFN package, making it suitable for space-constrained PCB designs.
