The TPS54360DDAR is a step-down DC-DC converter with an integrated switch that operates over an input voltage range of 4.5V to 28V. It is capable of delivering up to 3A of continuous output current with an efficiency of up to 96%. This converter features adjustable output voltage settings ranging from 0.76V to 5.5V, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. It also includes a soft-start function to reduce inrush current during startup, as well as overcurrent and thermal protection to ensure safe operation. The TPS54360DDAR is housed in a small, thermally-enhanced 8-pin PowerPAD MSOP package, making it ideal for space-constrained designs. It operates at a switching frequency of up to 2.5MHz, allowing for smaller external components and reducing overall system cost.
