TOP234GN is a high-performance, isolated AC/DC flyback power supply controller manufactured by Power Integrations. It is designed for use in applications requiring high efficiency and low standby power consumption. TOP234GN features a universal input voltage range of 85 VAC to 265 VAC, making it suitable for a wide range of mains-powered applications. The controller is capable of delivering up to 10 W of output power and offers several protection features, including over-temperature protection, over-voltage protection, and over-current protection.One of the key features of TOP234GN is its integrated primary-side regulation (PSR) technology, which eliminates the need for an optocoupler and secondary feedback circuitry, reducing system cost and complexity. This technology also enables extremely tight output voltage regulation, ensuring high efficiency and reliable performance.TOP234GN is housed in a small, industry-standard 7-pin PDIP package, making it easy to integrate into existing designs.
