The TNY286DG-TL is a high-efficiency, low power offline switcher IC designed for use in power supply applications. It is part of the TinySwitch-4 family of products from Power Integrations. This IC integrates a 700 V power MOSFET, oscillator, high voltage switched current source, current limit, and thermal shutdown circuitry onto a single chip. It operates off-line, meaning it can work from a wide input voltage range without the need for an external power transformer.
