TISP2180 General Description
TISP2180 is a transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode manufactured by Bourns Inc. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic components from damage caused by transient voltage spikes and surges. This TVS diode has a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500 watts, providing robust protection for a variety of applications including telecommunications equipment, industrial automation, and power supplies. It features a low clamping voltage of 99 volts at 16.7 A, ensuring that the voltage across the protected circuit remains within safe levels during transient events.The TISP2180 has a breakdown voltage of 180 volts and a maximum reverse standoff voltage of 150 volts. It also has a low leakage current of 0.5 µA at its maximum rated voltage, minimizing power consumption in normal operating conditions.This TVS diode is available in a compact surface mount SMD package, making it easy to integrate into circuit designs. It is RoHS compliant, ensuring that it meets environmental standards for hazardous substance restrictions.
