The TCA9554APWR is an 8-bit I2C I/O expander from Texas Instruments that provides remote I/O expansion for most microcontroller families via the I2C interface. It features an internal 8-bit input/output port with programmable interrupt output performance, allowing the microcontroller to monitor the input port value to trigger interrupts. The device is designed to optimize power consumption and features a power-on reset circuit that asserts the reset signal for a minimum of 250 ms after power-up.The TCA9554APWR has hardware configurable I2C slave addresses to allow multiple devices to be connected on the same bus. It also supports a hardware reset that forces the device into its default state when power is restored. The device operates at a wide voltage range of 1.65 V to 5.5 V, making it suitable for a variety of applications. Additionally, it features a low standby current consumption of 1 µA maximum, making it ideal for battery-powered applications
