The SN65HVD11DR is a high-speed, low-power RS-485 transceiver designed for half-duplex communication in industrial applications. It operates from a single 3.3V power supply and features a data rate of up to 20 Mbps. The device is capable of transmitting up to 256 nodes on a bus, making it ideal for use in multi-point networks.The SN65HVD11DR has a wide common-mode voltage range of -7V to 12V, allowing for robust communication in noisy industrial environments. It also features built-in protection against bus fault conditions, such as bus contention and excessive voltage.This transceiver is available in a small SOIC-8 package, making it suitable for space-constrained applications.
