SG6848TZ1 is a voltage-mode PWM controller designed for low-power off-line flyback power supplies. It operates in a frequency modulation mode to limit the maximum output power to 120W. This controller features an integrated start-up current source and a complete set of protection features including overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, and over temperature protection.The SG6848TZ1 also includes a soft-start function to limit the inrush current during start-up and prevent damage to the power supply components. It has an internal oscillator with a frequency range of 20kHz to 100kHz for flexible operation. The controller is designed with a high-voltage level shifter for driving an external power MOSFET, making it suitable for various flyback power supply applications.
