RN4871-V/RM140 General Description
The RN4871-V/RM140 is a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) module developed by Microchip Technology. It features a compact form factor and low power consumption, making it ideal for a wide range of IoT and wearable applications. The module is based on the industry-standard Bluetooth 4.2 technology and supports both peripheral and central roles. It also includes an integrated stack with profiles for standard BLE services such as heart rate monitors, proximity sensors, and UART communication.The RN4871-V/RM140 offers a range of up to 50 meters and is FCC, IC, CE, and MIC certified for global use. It can be easily configured using AT commands over a UART interface, simplifying the integration process.
