The MC34067P is a high-performance fixed frequency voltage-mode PWM controller designed for use in off-line and dc-to-dc converter applications. It features an output that can be easily adjusted to provide a reliable regulated supply with a high-current output capability. This device includes an internal temperature-compensated reference, adjustable duty cycle control, soft-start, and overcurrent protection. It has a wide input voltage range of 7V to 40V and can operate at frequencies up to 100 kHz. The MC34067P also comes with a totem pole output stage designed to source or sink up to 500 mA of peak current. It can operate over a wide temperature range from -40°C to 85°C and is available in an 8-pin DIP package.
