MAX3243EIPWR General Description
The MAX3243EIPWR is a 3.3V-powered RS-232 transceiver that is designed to transmit and receive RS-232 data signals with a minimum of external components. It has a maximum data rate of 250kbps and features a shutdown mode that reduces power consumption to less than 5µA. The device is compatible with the TIA/EIA-232-F standard and operates from a single 3.0V to 3.6V power supply. It includes a charge pump voltage converter that generates the RS-232 voltage levels without requiring additional external components.The MAX3243EIPWR is offered in a space-saving TSSOP package and is suitable for applications requiring a small footprint and low power consumption.
