The LTR-329ALS-01 is a digital ambient light and proximity sensor module produced by OSRAM Opto Semiconductors. It is designed to accurately detect ambient light levels and proximity to objects in a wide range of applications.The sensor features an I2C interface for communication with microcontrollers and has a compact size of 2.0mm x 2.0mm x 0.5mm, making it suitable for space-constrained designs. It has a wide sensing range of 1.7 lux to 65,535 lux for ambient light detection and a proximity sensing range of up to 10cm.The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 1.8V to 3.6V and consumes low power, making it ideal for battery-powered devices. It has a low standby current of 1µA and a maximum operating current of 55µA.The LTR-329ALS-01 offers automatic ambient light adjustment and proximity detection capabilities, making it suitable for use in smartphones, tablets, wearables, industrial sensors, and IoT devices.
