LMD18201T General Description
The LMD18201T is a 3A H-Bridge Motor Driver IC which is designed for driving DC motors with high efficiency. It is capable of driving motors with a voltage range of 12V to 55V and can deliver up to 3A of continuous current per channel.The LMD18201T features an integrated thermal shutdown and a current limit function to protect the IC from overloads and overheating. It also has a built-in flyback diode to protect the IC from back EMF generated by the motor.The IC has a simple logic interface which makes it easy to control the direction and speed of the motor. It can be controlled using a PWM signal for speed control and two digital input pins for direction control.The LMD18201T is housed in a 11-lead TO-220 package which allows for easy mounting on a PCB. It has a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, making it suitable for industrial applications.
