LM3488MM is a high-efficiency switching regulator designed to drive LEDs with a constant current. It operates from a wide input voltage range of 6V to 36V and can deliver an output current of up to 1.5A. The device utilizes a hysteretic PFM control scheme to regulate the output current and can achieve efficiencies of up to 97%.The LM3488MM features a programmable PWM frequency, adjustable current limit, and thermal shutdown protection. It also includes a soft-start function to minimize inrush current during startup. The device comes in a small MSOP-10 package, making it suitable for space-constrained applications.
