LAN9512-JZX General Description
The LAN9512-JZX is a USB 2.0 to 10/100 Ethernet controller with a single integrated MAC/PHY. It is designed for embedded applications, offering low power consumption and a small footprint. The LAN9512-JZX supports USB 2.0 High-Speed (480 Mbps) and Full-Speed (12 Mbps) modes, as well as 10/100 Ethernet operation.This controller features an integrated 10/100 Ethernet transceiver, which eliminates the need for an external PHY chip. It also includes a 32KB on-chip packet buffer and support for IEEE 802.1Q VLAN tagging. The LAN9512-JZX is compatible with various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and Mac OS.In terms of connectivity, the LAN9512-JZX provides two USB 2.0 downstream ports, allowing for additional USB peripherals to be connected. It also supports Wake-on-LAN (WoL) functionality, enabling the device to be remotely powered on.
