The ICL8038CCPD is a waveform generator integrated circuit (IC) that produces a variety of waveforms, including sine, triangle, and square waves. It is a precision, monolithic, phase-locked loop (PLL) IC that generates accurately tuned, stable signals with minimal external components. The ICL8038CCPD has a wide frequency range of 0.001 Hz to 300 kHz and provides high linearity and low distortion output signals.The IC consists of a PLL that controls the frequency of an oscillator circuit. The frequency control voltage can be adjusted through an external resistor, capacitor, or voltage input.
