The CD4051BCM is a single 8-channel analog multiplexer/demultiplexer with three digital select lines. It is designed to handle both analog and digital signals in various applications such as signal routing, signal selection, and data acquisition systems.The CD4051BCM operates over a wide range of input voltages from -5V to +20V, making it compatible with both TTL and CMOS logic levels. It has a low ON resistance of 125 ohms typical and a low leakage current of 5nA maximum, ensuring minimal signal distortion and power consumption.This multiplexer/demultiplexer also features a break-before-make switching action to prevent short circuits between channels during switching operations.
