BTA12-800B General Description
The BTA12-800B is a 12A, 800V silicon controlled rectifier (SCR) available in a TO-220AB package. This device is designed for high current applications such as motor control, industrial and domestic lighting, and heating control. The BTA12-800B features a non-repetitive peak off-state voltage of 800V and a maximum on-state voltage drop of 1.7V. It has a maximum gate trigger current of 50 mA and a gate trigger voltage of 1.5V.The BTA12-800B has a maximum holding current of 30 mA and a maximum gate non-trigger voltage of 3V. This SCR also has a maximum peak gate power dissipation of 5W and a maximum peak non-repetitive surge current of 120A.This device operates in a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C and is RoHS compliant.
