AN17831A General Description

The AN17831A is a dual channel audio power amplifier integrated circuit (IC) designed for use in car audio systems. It has a maximum output power of 25 watts per channel when connected to a 4-ohm load at 14.4V supply voltage. The IC features a bridge-tied load (BTL) configuration and is capable of driving speakers with impedance as low as 2 ohms.The AN17831A operates on a wide supply voltage range of 6V to 18V and has a low quiescent current consumption of 50mA. It also includes built-in thermal shutdown, overcurrent protection, and overvoltage protection circuits to ensure safe operation and protection against damage.In terms of audio performance, the AN17831A offers low distortion and high signal-to-noise ratio, making it suitable for high-quality audio applications.
