UC28025DW is a high performance synchronous buck PWM controller IC designed for dc/dc converter applications. It is manufactured by Texas Instruments and is part of the company's analog integrated circuit product line. The UC28025DW features a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 18V, making it suitable for a variety of power supply designs. It also offers a fixed frequency voltage mode control with current sense, and is capable of driving external N-channel MOSFETs. This controller IC includes a host of protection features such as overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection, and thermal shutdown to ensure the safety and reliability of the power supply system it is integrated into. The UC28025DW also provides a selectable switching frequency of up to 500kHz and adjustable dead-time control for increased flexibility in power supply design.
