The TMS320LF2406APZS is a low-power, fixed-point digital signal processor (DSP) manufactured by Texas Instruments. It is part of the TMS320C24x generation of DSPs and features a 16-bit fixed-point architecture with a Harvard architecture, allowing for simultaneous instruction and data fetches. The processor operates at a maximum clock speed of 40MHz and offers 40MIPS of performance.The TMS320LF2406APZS includes 64KB of on-chip flash memory for program storage and 4KB of on-chip RAM for data storage. It also features a serial interface module (SIM) for communication with external devices, as well as multiple timers, a watchdog timer, and a parallel host port interface.In terms of peripherals, the TMS320LF2406APZS includes an 8-channel, 10-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with a maximum sampling rate of 500kHz, as well as a buffered serial port for communication with external devices.
