The TL431CPK is a three-terminal adjustable precision shunt regulator diode. It is commonly used in voltage reference applications due to its low dynamic impedance and high stability over a wide temperature range. The TL431CPK is housed in a TO-92 package and can operate over a voltage range of 2.5V to 36V.This device can be programmed to any voltage between the reference voltage (2.5V) and the cathode voltage by using external resistors. The TL431CPK features a typical dynamic output impedance of 0.2Ω, making it suitable for precision voltage regulation in various applications, such as power supplies, battery chargers, and voltage references.The TL431CPK has a temperature coefficient of 50ppm/°C, ensuring consistent performance over temperature variations.
