The TC4094BP is a CMOS shift register with 8-stage parallel input capability. It has a clock pin for shifting data in and out, as well as a latch enable pin for storing data on the outputs. This IC is commonly used in applications requiring serial-to-parallel data conversion, such as LED and LCD displays, LED drivers, and digital control systems.The TC4094BP operates on a wide voltage range from 3V to 18V and has a high current sink capability of up to 25mA per output. It is designed for easy daisy-chaining to create longer shift register chains for larger data storage and processing tasks. The device is housed in a 16-pin DIP package, making it easy to integrate into existing circuit designs.
