PCA9511ADP General Description

The PCA9511ADP is a hot swappable I2C-bus and SMBus buffer that are designed for applications where I2C or SMBus devices are connected in a daisy chain or a bus, providing capacitive buffering while isolating bus capacitance. This device features a rise time accelerator circuit which allows bus capacitance to be charged quickly, improving rise times. The PCA9511ADP operates from a 2.3V to 5.5V supply voltage range and has 6 high-speed hot swap switches to connect and disconnect the primary and secondary I2C buses. The device supports bus speeds up to 400kHz and has a current-sinking capability of 50mA to support bus devices with various compliance levels. The PCA9511ADP also features a low standby current consumption of 0.9µA to minimize power consumption when not in use.The PCA9511ADP is offered in a TSSOP-8 package and operates over an extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial and consumer applications.
