The PC16552DV is a dual-channel Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter (UART) integrated circuit designed for high-speed serial communication applications. It features two full-function UART channels with baud rates of up to 3 Mbps and a 16-byte FIFO buffer for each channel.The PC16552DV includes a programmable fractional baud rate generator and supports 5, 6, 7, or 8-bit data formats, with odd, even, or no parity bit options. It also has two independent 16C550-compatible UARTs, allowing for easy integration into existing systems.In addition to the standard UART functionality, the PC16552DV includes features such as automatic hardware and software flow control, modem control signals, and line break detection. It operates on a single 3.3V power supply and is compatible with both 3.3V and 5V logic levels.The PC16552DV is ideal for applications that require high-speed, reliable serial communication, such as industrial automation, telecommunications, and data networking.
