The MPM3550EGLE is a high-frequency, synchronous, rectified step-down switch-mode converter with an integrated inductor. It has an input voltage range of 2.75V to 6V and can deliver up to 3A of continuous output current. This makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, including point-of-load regulation in distributed power systems, battery-powered devices, and industrial equipment.The device features an adaptive constant-on-time (COT) control mode, which provides fast transient response and a simple compensation scheme. It also includes overcurrent protection, overtemperature protection, and undervoltage lockout for enhanced reliability and safety.The MPM3550EGLE has a compact 3mm x 4mm QFN package, making it ideal for space-constrained designs. It operates at high efficiency, with a peak efficiency of 95% and a low quiescent current of 35µA, helping to extend battery life in portable applications.
