The LP2951CDR2G is a low-dropout voltage regulator designed to provide a stable output voltage with low quiescent current. It has a nominal output voltage of 5 volts and can deliver a maximum output current of 100mA. The device has a dropout voltage of only 300mV at full load and operates within a wide input voltage range of 5.5V to 30V.The LP2951CDR2G features built-in thermal shutdown and current limiting protection to ensure the safety and reliability of the system. It also includes an error flag that indicates when the output voltage falls out of regulation. The device is housed in a small 8-pin SOIC package, making it suitable for space-constrained applications.
