The LMR16030SDDAR is a DC-DC step-down converter from Texas Instruments. It is a 3A synchronous buck converter with an input voltage range of 4.5V to 60V and an adjustable output voltage range of 0.8V to 50V. The device operates at a switching frequency of 300 kHz to 2.2 MHz, providing an efficient solution for applications that require high power conversion efficiency.The LMR16030SDDAR features a high current mode for fast transient response and pulse skipping mode for improved efficiency at light loads. It also includes soft-start functionality to minimize in-rush current during startup. The converter is housed in a small 8-pin WSON package, making it suitable for space-constrained designs.Additional features of the LMR16030SDDAR include over-current and thermal shutdown protection, as well as adjustable current limit and power good pin for easy monitoring of the device's operating status.
