The LAN8742A-CZ is a low-power 10/100 Ethernet PHY transceiver with HP Auto-MDIX support and HP Auto-Negotiation for detection and configuration of speed and duplex. It operates with a supply voltage ranging from 2.97V to 3.63V and supports both MII and RMII interfaces. The LAN8742A-CZ features integrated 1.2V regulator and EEPROM support for storing configuration data, making it easy to interface with various microcontrollers and network processors.This Ethernet PHY transceiver also includes advanced power management features such as Energy Detection Mode and Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) for reducing power consumption in low-traffic scenarios. The LAN8742A-CZ is also equipped with built-in loopback modes for diagnostics and link quality monitoring. Its compact size and low-power operation make it ideal for use in various applications such as IoT devices, industrial automation, and embedded systems requiring reliable Ethernet connectivity
